Collaboration with Scott DuBois

Hi,

I'm pleased to share with you two videos I made for Scott DuBois (http://www.scottdubois.com/ and http://www.facebook.com/pages/Scott-DuBois/217447793017?v=info), a jazz guitarist and composer native from Chicago, USA and living since longtime in New-York.

These videos contains a selection of 80 photos I take to him between 2006 to 2010 in New-York and in Switzerland,

For me, he is right now and definitely the most interesting guitarist on the jazz world even if his name is not so known as the name of a Kurt Rosenwinkel (love him too .. no doubts !! ) for example.

He just released a FANTASTIC cd called "Black Hawk Dance" for Sunnyside Records which is his certainly the most personal among his 4 cd's.

The purpose is to help him to promote this fabulous CD because I believe strongly on him.

And the prestigious US jazz magazine Downbeat  gave him 5 stars recently ! Look what they said about his new cd :

***** (5 stars) “Wonderful, evocative…a profound delight.”
- Downbeat (Paul de Barros)

And All About Jazz ...

“Strumming, plucking and pulling strings as if he were rearranging them on the neck of his instrument…virtuosity…DuBois’ tunes favor the upper end of the scale and intensify air that’s already crackling with seriousness.”
- AllAboutJazz New York (Jeff Stockton)

“Music as fluid and intriguing as a Dalì painting.”
- AllAboutJazz New York (Terrell Holmes)

I hope you will run after that to your record store or online in order to buy his music. He deserves it !

Keep swingin'

Juan-Carlos
