I'm proud to have been hired for one of his
concerts at the intimate New York City jazz club, The
Kitano, by the 2-time Grammy Award winning jazz piano player Alan
Broadbent, "one of the greatest living jazz pianists - Los Angeles
Times, July 2011.
Furthermore, "Solar" from his in
2010 released CD "Live at Giannelli Square, Vol. 1" had been
nominated in company with Keith Jarrett, Herbie Hancock, Wynton Marsalis and
Hank Jones for „Best Improvised Jazz Solo"
It has been a great
pleasure to collaborate with Alan Broadbent, such a gentleman.
You can read a review of the 1st set on Saturday, September 24, 2011 by Dan Bilawsky, allaboutjazz.com. This review contains one of the photos I took to Alan after the concert
Thanks to Timo Sulc for
his help during the recording considering I had, this day, the flue and a very
painful muscular pain at leg.
Enjoy the video ;-)
