Gorgeous photo. Interesting video... wondering how they got electricity out into the desert.
Hey thanks for pointing me towards your photo. I had the joy of seeing Tinariwen in Mali earlier this year - at the Festival Au Desert. They're an incredible band.
For the previous poster, the answer is simply a diesel generator. What I'd like to know though is, how far away from the generator did they have to go for the noise not to bleed into their mics.
hi Mike and Sunna,
I forwarded the question to a friend musician who played on the famous Festival Du Désertl
Hope he will soon answer despite of his busy schedule.
Thanks so much for your comment btw
Kind regards
jc
Y cuando la voluntad se desarma...
Aquí y allá...
responder a la llamada...
inevitable... imprevista... precisa...
Y brilla un espejismo... cálido... cegador...
Deambulea la gota que desborda...
Lo que es y será por siempre...
Viento sobre la mar de arena...
Impactante...!!
gracias Bijinga !
